Set your class a 7-day kindness challenge with this cup of kindness activity. This activity is a fun addition to a kindness week, month, or lesson, and will get your pupils thinking about why kindness is important, and how to show it to others. The activity Print a kindness cup template for each child. Each stripe on their cup represents a day of the week. For each of the next 7 days, they will try to complete an act of kindness. For each one, they can colour in a stripe on their cup (starting at the bottom), and write what they did. By the end of the week, they will have a rainbow-striped cup of kindness, ideal for creating a whole class display. In addition to the activity template, this resource includes: Teacher notes 2 optional worksheet printables for children to complete before and after the challenge Colour and black and white award certificates for children on completion of the challenge (optional). This printable resource covers 4 summer-themed life cycles: a sea turtle, watermelon, butterfly, and honey bee. The finished foldouts look great in an interactive science notebook. For each animal/plant, the templates are differentiated so you can choose the ones that best suit your learners. Give your life cycle studies a Halloween twist with this set of foldouts. This resources features templates for the life cycles of a bat, owl, pumpkin and spider. You could use them to compare the life histories of a bird, mammal, plant and arachnid. They are also great for interactive science notebook or as science centres. Each life cycle has options that allow you to differentiate for your pupils. Spider life cycle There are 3 options so you can select and print the one that best suits your needs and differentiate for your students if required: Colour the template, cut and fold.
